PRINT SALES
Most of the images on this site are available as exhibition quality prints made by the photographer on an Epson 2100 printer using Ultrachrome™ archival inks on Epson Archival Matte or Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper.
Independent testing by www.wilhelm-research.com finds that such prints will last for decades before noticeable fading, if properly mounted, framed and hung. This surpasses the longevity of traditional photos.
This printer produces prints up to Super A3 size (ca. 16" x 12" image with border), larger sizes can be supplied to special order (up to 40" x 30", depending on the format of original slide). These are outsourced to a specialist lab which uses a Lightjet 5000™ laser printer to produce prints on Fuji Crystal™ photographic paper (gloss or matte);
these one-off, exhibition prints are, inevitably, rather more expensive. If you are interested in a larger size print, Email Don to check availability and prices.
Please note that it is not possible to guarantee that print colours and colour saturation will exactly match the image as you see it on the website. There are a number of variables affecting web images, for example: whether you use a PC or Mac, your computer display colour settings and monitor colour temperature and calibration.
Image size ratios will also differ slightly, as images are edited to suit the proportions of the paper used.
Mounts & Frames
Prints are supplied unmounted. The colour and style of the mount you choose relates closely to the particular image and to your choice of frame, both are very much a matter of taste and are best chosen with the help of a competent framer and with the print in front of you.
It is not possible to supply frames.
Mailing & Packaging
Prints are posted in a heavy duty cardboard postal tube with full instructions on handling, mounting and care.
UK orders are sent by either First Class, Recorded Delivery (included in price) or Special Delivery (£5.00 extra charged); overseas orders are sent by Air Mail, Signed For. Prices are set out below.

The sizes listed are approximate image sizes, variations occur according to the original film format and how the image has been cropped. However, the longest side may be taken as a minimum measurement. All images are centred on the paper to leave a minimum 1/2" border.

Post & Packing:
- UK: 1st. Class, Recorded Delivery - included in price.

VAT is not charged on any purchases.
Ordering and Payment
I reserve the right to refuse any order. Orders from countries where copyright violation is commonplace will not be accepted.
It is easy to pay using a credit or debit card with PayPal; there is no charge to you and you do not now need to have an account. If you choose this option, you will be sent a payment request with your order confirmation.
Both these options offer secure online payment sites - at no time do we see your card details.
You can also pay by personal cheque, bank draft or postal order (all in £GBP). Payment by BACS (Bank Transfer) is not accepted for private transactions.
VAT is not charged on any of the items purchased through this website.
All prices are quoted, and must be paid, in GB Pounds (£), if you want to estimate the cost in a different currency use the Currency converter.
Please email Don with details of your order, your full contact details and how you wish to pay, you will then get a payment request, confirming the price and availability of the print (some images may not be available due to commercial restrictions).
Orders are normally confirmed and despatched within a week of arrival and clearance of your payment - if you have not received an email confirming your order within this time, or if your order has not arrived within 14 days of your payment, please contact Don.
Guarantees
If you are not happy with your purchase, the price will be refunded in full if prints are returned in a saleable condition within 14 days of delivery (unless you are returning prints because they have been damaged in transit). This does not affect your statutory rights. Any refund does not cover your postal and handling charges.
If handled, mounted and displayed according to the recommendations enclosed with the print, I give an 5 year guarantee against any fading or discolouration. This guarantee is restricted to replacement of the original print with another of the same subject (or an acceptable substitute, if the original is not available) of similar size and quality or a refund of the original purchase price. You are responsible for the cost of return postage and packaging.
Print Copyright
Buying a print gives you ownership of that print, it does not give you any rights in the image; the copyright of that image remains with Don Brownlow Photography.
You are not permitted to copy, duplicate, replicate, publish or exhibit for gain any of my images without prior written permission.
Infringement of copyright is a serious matter and I do not hesitate to take legal action against anybody who is discovered stealing my work.
